The four rung via ferrata ladder leading to the amazing draw cave of Echo Cliff. This marked the end of a hideous bushwack and the begining of the fun.
The "draw cave" at Echo was hot in January!

Bruce Lella on Merriam's crux. The pitches below geeked me good and I declined this lead, afraid it would be the Good Book at 12,000 feet. But that crack on the right wall made it a blast.
