Description Suggest change

This area of climbs are among the more recent routes put up on the mountain by members of the ROWCC. Most climbs are south facing and bordering Deep Creek and are probably best done when snow is not present to avoid the large groups of families playing in the snow in this area.

Getting There Suggest change

From Running Springs, head towards Big Bear on HWY 18. At approximately half a mile before reaching Snow Valley Resort, a large turnout on the south side of the road will appear on a big curve in the road. Park here and head south to the top of the hill. Continue southwest towards the creek and Hooker Boot Wall will be the first large formation encountered.
