If you base you decision on where to live on how conservative an area is you can rule out just about every rural area in the west. large areas as well like Colorado Springs or Salt Lake City.

Oh you’d be surprised about the things that go on in Montrose.  I’ve worked with the city government on a few projects. The things I’ve heard members of the Montrose city government say make Tina Peters look like a rational, sane, compassionate person.

I understand. I know you weren’t judging anyone or making a political comment. Some people get upset when facts contradict their firmly held opinions.

Regardless of your politics Montrose is a nice place with good people!
