Too many shoes. Must sell.

  • La Sportiva Futura (yellow rand)
    • Size 41. Excellent condition, lightly used. How about 90$ shipped
  • La Sportiva Otaki
    • Size 41. Almost new, barely used. Something like 100$ shipped
  • Five Ten Quantum (blue version)
    • Size 10.5. Lots of life left. Maybe $55 shipped
  • Five Ten Quantum (purple version)
    • Size 11 (but they fit smaller than the blues in 10.5, I'd say more like a 9.5 in blue). Maybe halfway to a resole. $40 shipped will do
  • Lowa Rockets (velcro)
    • Size 10. BRAND NEW. Never climbed in. Old version. Something like $75 shipped
  • Lowa Rockets (lace up)
    • Size 10.5. BRAND NEW. Never climbed in. New version. Something like $75 shipped
  • Black Diamond Solution Harness
    • Size small. Light use. No lead falls. A few stains. Something around $40 shipped
Sportiva Futura, size 41 (sorry my phone camera sucks)

Five Ten Quantums (blue), size 10.5:

Five Ten Quantums (purple), size 11 (fit smaller than the blue)

Lowa Rocket (velcro), size 10

What's the fit, from a sizing perspective, of the Rockets compared to the Sportiva shoes?

Aleks Mekendorfer · · Seattle, WA · Joined Jul 2018 · Points: 0

Hey Bill, here's a pic of the Lowa rockets (size 43 EU/10 US) next to some Sportiva Otakis in size 41. They're a smidge longer than the Otakis, even with greater down camber. I'd guess they are equivalent to size 41.5 in most sportiva options, but I can't say for sure. They're higher volume than the Otakis too, so they feel bigger on my foot even at close to the same length size.

Thanks Aleks; unfortunately probably too small.

Sounds good. I wear 10.5 in street shoes and the Lowas are a sport fit for me. Could go down to 9.5.

I have a pair of lightly used Scarpa Mago 42 id trade for the futuras. Those sizes are equivalent to each other
