Also and this was the biggest beef with it was that unless you have it aligned perfectly with the load the carabiner can twist and slightly open the device causing the rope to come out of the pulley slightly and reduce efficiency. I have not had this issue before, what type of carabiner where you using? The Petzl OK carabiner always seems to load perfectly for me.
I think I was using a large HMS. I don't think it was the biner but more the way it was oriented on the master point. Its an ok device but definitely not as good as a Microtrax when compared side by side. I'll still use it but use the Micro for big wall hauling.
