Large hook design thoughts

Made a hook in about 20 mins this evening as a proof of concept. I bounce tested it and there's no deflection. A little heavier that the petzl sky hook but I made it from a a piece of chromoly tube I had in the garage with a file, angle grinder, vice, and hammer.

I donated my Fish Hooks to a good cause and could do with a new 2.5 hook as well.
