Iowa quarterly bouldering buddy

Hi Iowans,

I visit your great state quarterly, *CedarRapids/Iowa City specifically*, and I'd love to taste the local flavor of limestone.

Is there a place to rent or borrow pads?

I'm on the "West Coast" of the Iowa (Sioux City) so no limestone but we have some "great" red quartzite crags about 1.5hrs north of us in South Dakota and Minnesota.  There is bouldering, sport, and TR.  Shoot me a PM and I'll give you my number in case you are ever in this part of Iowa.
