Review of Climb Maryland 2 Volume Guidebooks?

Hello all, I posted this on the Maryland page but my post was deleted (not sure why, since my question seems relevant). Does anyone have any experience with the new two volume set of guidebooks to Maryland? I am wondering if they are any good. I didn't love another guidebook by the publisher, Next Ascent, but it's a different author. Anyway, I am down in MD a few times a year visiting family and I'm wondering if the guidebooks are worth picking up. Rock and Snow does not carry them, so I cannot flip through before buying. Thanks!

I have a copy of the 'Eastern' volume. It seems okay and reasonably comprehensive, though I haven't had the opportunity yet to 'field test' it.
My greater concern is that I ordered a copy of the 'Western' book ( and another of their guides) several months ago, but have never received them, nor had any other response from Next Ascent.

As, sorry to hear that. I wonder if that is why Rock and Snow does not carry from this publisher. I guess that I will steer clear for now. Thanks.
