How to Show Your Preferred Grading System - Answered!

Many would like to change or add another grading system; say YDS to the French system or the boring but logical Ewbanks one the Ausies use, but don't know how to do it. Currently there is no help for it in the hep area that I could find, but there is a way, and it is easy.

Go to any route page. Just under the route name find the grade, and to the right of it will be the name of the current grading system (usually YDS, as that is the default, though it could be "French"  or another, or even multiple ones if they were changed previously). The grading system name is a link. Click it and you will come to a page with an International Climbing Grade Comparison Chart . On the left side of the page you can tick your preferred grading system for boulder problems and routes. You can tick more than one. Click save and you should be good to go.

Where to find the link: (n the below example I have both YDS and French ticked, so either YDS or French will link me to the conversion page_

the link takes you to: https://www.mountainproject.com/international-climbing-grades (Now that you have it here, you can go to it directly rather than through a route page)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
