I found Steve Cater's email address and asked if he had a copy and he responded! He said he has a digital copy and will post in this thread when he gets a chance to upload it.

I have an old VHS copy. I climbed in the gorge a little when I lived in NC about 30 years ago. Just sent it to Legacy Box to digitize. Probably won’t get it back for at least a month. Hopefully the quality is good. Would be cool if Steve posts a link. His copy is probably cleaner.
