I'm traveling north from SD next week and for the first time in a long time I don't have a next destination or plan. I realized that I've never made time for Tahquitz before so I'm looking to correct that. June 10-14 is my loose window of being up there and I'd be psyched to get at least a classic in (maybe like a whodunit lap?) and maybe a few back to back days if scheduling allows. Right now I'm more interested in mileage than pulling super hard so 5.6-5.10+ would be ideal.
I work as a climbing and canyoneering guide (amga assistant rock guide), I like an attentive belay, and I think my station transitions are pretty efficient. My sense of humor is dry and I talk to myself on lead. If every so often we stop and appreciate how beautiful everything is that would be a great outing.
Looking forward to some long overdue adventuring in Tahquitz!
