Summer Slab Climbing

Why spend your summer enjoying well-manicured trails to shady, high-elevation crags full of jugs, completely devoid of loose rock, when you can instead bushwhack through a gully of stabbing brush at a time when roosters are still tired in order for you to get 2 burns on a unpleasantly desperate route before the wall turns into a complete slip n' slide, either by virtue of your paper-thin, plasma drenched sweaty finger skin, or an inevitable summer squall?

Come slab climb with me! I've got some projects at Little Tiger Stripe I'd like to chip away at. Would be happy to do a morning session at the wall and then pivot and do an afternoon session somewhere else in either Wonderland or Staunton.

What's in it for you:

  • Potential for first ascents
  • You get to hear me concoct never-before-heard curse words as I work my way up impossible seaming slabs
  • Free TR burns on atrociously difficult slab routes if you want

What's in it for me:

  • Potential for you to get the first ascent before me so that I can do literally anything else

Shoot me a message if you're keen. While the routes I'm looking at are in the 5.11+ to 5.13 range, there's obviously other stuff also at the wall (unfortunately, mostly also in the 5.11+ to 5.13 range).

I'm keen? I'll message you.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
