UP / Silver Mountain flies

Are the flies out yet at Silver? Thinking of going up there this weekend and wasn’t sure if they’ve come out yet.

Goodness I don't miss the black flies at Silver! Not actually knowing, and just a guess, I would say no, its too early.  June/July are the death zones ;)

Still wintery up north. My folks still have snow on the ground in northern Door County. 

The mosquitos at Necedah were apocalyptic a few days ago though. 

Head North! The bugs haven't woken up yet!

Black flies have started a bit. Typically I find them to be the worst mid-May to mid-June.
