Petzl Meteor Unavailable in the US?

Noticed that the Meteor helmet is out of stock in most places. Are they rolling out a new version of it? Was looking to get one but may go with the new Blue Ice Blast instead.

Looks like they're coming out with a new model. Optics planet has what looks like the new meteor colors as well as the new multi color Petzl ange carabiner listed on the website but not in stock yet.

Just a colour refresh, stores in the uk already stock it.

It's slightly more than that. I believe they are dropping the meteor / meteora difference and including the ponytail headband on the meteor going forward. I think they are also dropping the magnetic chin strap buckle in favor of a standard one. Overall construction looks similar otherwise.

I was going to get a new meteor from optics planet to replace my aging Boreo but decided on the Mammut crag sender instead and I think it's much more comfortable than either of the Petzls, and cheaper than the meteor. 

Damnit. I love the magnetic strap.

I’m just the opposite. They were the worst!

If you climb in an area with metal grains, it would clogged up the buckle.

I’ll consider buying one again.
