Hello, I’m living near Wheeling, WV. I’ve climbed extensively in California, Colorado, and Utah for over fifteen years and have recently moved back East. I have ropes and gear (60m and 70m, double/triples BD cams). I can usually lead 10+ but also happy to climb in the 5.8 - 5.9 range, or give you a solid belay on harder routes. I have a truck with a camper shell and I am willing to drive to and from crag and can pick you up if you’re not too far out of the way. My number is (415) 250-5023. I’m available any day of the week, willing to get up at 5 AM to beat the heat/crowds.
I'm driving down to climb Friday through Sunday, but my partner might need to bail. If so, I was planning on coming anyway with crash pads, but I'd far prefer to get on some of the trad classics that others have recommended to me in this thread.
My ticklist is accurate -- not a whole lot of rock trips in the past year, but I try to make them count. I used to belay people for a living and I've been told I'm quite good at it :-)
Hey I’ll be in the area thursday through sunday afternoon. I mostly boulder, but I have a harness as well and I’m down to do some pitches. I don’t have any experience with trad, just bouldering and top rope. I’d love to try out sport climbing. Message me at 860-978-1903.
Can any of you climb Tomorrow (Tuesday 16th) in the NEW? Im heading that way either today or tomorrow. Could also climb in Seneca on Tuesday as Im meeting a friend in the NEW on Wednesday
Looking for a climbing partner March 24-25. I am happy to belay you on whatever you want. Personally, I would like to to lead 5.8-5.10 sport or trad routes. I can be reached at (202) 304-2269—Let me know if you are interested!
