Scarpa Boostic R bigger sizes

I've reached out to Scarpa directly, but I've had to wait a long time in the past for a response, so hoping for the collective to have some sort of answer.

I currently climb in Vapors and Generators, size 46, and want to get into a pair of Boostic R since I need a stiff but not-so-flat shoe for various reasons. I've only been able to find the Boostic R listed up to size 45, and pretty much never available.  Has anyone found them in 45.5 or 46 before?  Any ideas as to Scarpas production schedule when even the 45 may be available again?

They don’t make the Boostic in sizes larger than 45. If your generators are sized for comfort at 46, you may be able to work with 44.5 (1 pair in stock on scarpa.com right now) or 45 as a performance fit? I wear generators sized for all day multi-pitching at my street shoe 42, but wear other scarpas at 1.5-2 sizes below street.

Part of my issue is the onset of Hallus Rigidus, so I can't size down much without extreme discomfort, but have also been told by the doctor to wear stiff shoes for everything.  I tried 45 in the Vapors to start, but found the pressure uncomfortable.

I'm thinking I may need to wait to find the 45 in Boostics and then send them off to Yosemite Bum for a half-size stretch and resole.  Turns into an expensive pair of shoes, though.

What about Miuras? Similar asymmetry to the boostic, not quite as downturned. They go up to 46, and LaSpo tends to run larger per size than Scarpa, so I'd think you'd probably be able to try on 2 or 3 sizes and go with the best. Great on grantie and basalt tech vert, so right at home at Broughton/Smith, etc.

Boostics are my current fave shoe, but the Miuras are excellent too and fill a similar niche.

Size 45 is 43 in generator. Two sizes smaller

I haven't tried on a pair of LS in a few years, but maybe the Miuras will fit better than I remember.  I've generally not found LS to fit my foot shape very well, especially in the heel, so I've not even thought to try on a pair again.

This is a follow up just for anyone in a similar boat:

Ordered a pair of the Boostic R in the biggest size, 45, hoping I'd be able to squeeze in and they'd stretch a bit, or worse case I could send them off to Yosemite Bum and have them stretched up a half or full size.  I've tried on the Generators in 45 before, but for the style of climbing I wanted to do in them they were too tight/too much toe curl to work. I found the Boostic to be considerably narrower overall than the Generator or Vapor, and due to the stiffness I couldn't event get my heel into the shoe.  So much too small that I don't think even a full size stretch would be worthwhile.

Fingers crossed they up the size availability in the future!

Instinct lace might be a good alternative to the boostic. Very stiff.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
