So cool! Pete was all over this thing. What a shame we won't have a chance to ask him about any of these climbs. Im surprised how much of the rock they covered. I found a huge sandstone roof in Weidemanns park, I wonder if they ever climbed that. 

Another thought would be if we could come together to add some more pictures to the guide. I have some

What will the DNR do about honestly considering the suitability of climbing at Abelman's? Their draft master plan has come out.  And the answer is:  they propose doing nothing, ignoring their commitment to review areas like this, and ignoring all the information we have provided them about the history of this area.

I find it shameful that they have now declared they are going to ignore commitments that they themselves put into state Administrative Code (i.e. state law).

Time to put a trump bumper sticker on my car and start climbing there
