Haven't been up LCC in a while - GWI still just a wet smear or is there ice?

Climbed it yesterday on decent ice all the way. It’s the typical crowded mess with ice falling all over everyone though. I was fortunate to be on it with a good crowd that worked hard to keep each other safe, which isn’t typical.

This is the upper section of the Fang. We experienced major ice fall today around noon and I believe the whole place is dangerous. We left six screws and five quick draws on this section on our way down. If anyone happens to find them and wants to return them that would be great. Not worth the risk of going up there, in my estimation.

Wow.  Glad your all ok. It was a bit warm in the last 24 hrs to be climbing ice don't you think? Be safe everybody.

Great picture!

PSA, there’s a UDOT weather station more or less at Nunns Park.  There’s one at the Pumphouse for the GWI as well.  Both are great for getting the current and recent temps at these two popular zones.

Last Chance up in Logan is holding up to the temps pretty well
