Looking for a patient Trad partner who is okay with someone breaking into the head space of Trad leading. Sewing up routes, top roping first and possibly pre-placing gear and checking it. I’m not necessarily looking to push grades just trying to have fun, gain confidence with the end goal of doing some moderate alpine routes. Would be nice to meet some people at a similar level in San Diego. I’ve been climbing at El Cajon, MG, Woodson and Dixon Lake mostly. Based in North County San Diego.

Hi Kevin, I am up in Escondido and am getting back into climbing after a 5 year hiatus of not climbing much. I used to do some easier trad leads, I have trad gear and am in the same spot of just wanting to get comfortable again and have fun climbing. I would also like to explore some stuff I see off the 15 and some cool looking satellite crags west and east of Castle Rock crag.  Sent you a PM with my number.
