New sub-area I created doesn’t show up on the climbing area map

I created a new sub area at my local boulders (Lake Palo Duro) on Dec 13 and have added a handful of boulders and routes since then. However none of this shows up on the climbing area map and I can’t figure out why. I know I didn’t do anything different than what I’ve done on all the other contributions I’ve made. What gives?

Hey Joel, I'm seeing all of the four new sub-areas for Lake Palo Duro in the iOS app but their GPS locations all show the same coordinates. As a result, the Near Me map in the app shows a circle for Hillside Boulders and then if you tap that circle, you'll see the four new sub-areas within it.

As the contributor, you should be able to edit those area pages and update their GPS locations on the map (best to do using a desktop, there's a bug when updating locations on a mobile device). Once those get saved, they should show as separate circles on the map.

Let me know if you run into issues.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
