Potrero Chico advice

Hey all, traveling to EPC Dec 28 - Jan 3. Return flight out of Monterrey is insane and personally can't afford it at this time. Anyone making driving back to US around this time / have beta for getting a cheaper workaround involving crossing the border? I noticed flights out of San Antonio/Austin are much cheaper. Thanks in advance!

A friend and I are driving to Austin most likely on 1/2.  His car, but I can see if he wants another to split gas if you haven't already made arrangements. 

Check again - It looks like the price just dipped significantly for a few flights. I just bought mine from dfw for 190
