Getting to Hyalite: carpools or alt transportation?

May be flying out to Bozeman this December for some ice climbing with a buddy. We are hoping to avoid renting a car. I was in Bozeman this summer and thought I read there were shuttles out to Hyalite but now I can't find where I read that. In any case, is there any kind of group chat for sharing rides or alternative ways to get there? And is it active enough to get a ride mid-week in mid-late December? It's a five day trip if that makes any difference and no it's not during the ice fest.

Thanks!

Car rental is kinda the deal. Unfortunately, as you may have discovered, renting a car in bozeman airport is exorbitant even compared to most other airports in the US.

I think my friend calculated that it would be cheaper to rent and camp in a U-haul if you minimize trips back to Bozeman ($1/mi) and if you pray that the U-haul can make it to the TH.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
