Heading down there this weekend towing a 20 ft travel trailer, was planning on camping out by Isle of You / Sweet Rock, but haven't been there before. Anyone have any beta on the road conditions, any issues towing back there?
There are a number of sites on the main road before you get to Sweet Rock that are fine, and one easy access site on the main road on the left side after the turn off to Sweet rock but it is often occupied. Better luck coming in on weekdays.
I would not drive a trailer that large around the Isle/sweet rock camping loop without walking it first. There are some sideways whoop de doos. And be warned that a little further on the main road onward to the north, is a (currently dry) stream crossing and then a very steep little section that might be demise with a large trailer. Depends on the trailer and what you are pulling it with
I was just there last weekend, the road is in great shape. I would feel comfortable driving any car from the main road to Sweet Rock. Plenty of people towing large trailers out there too.

Thanks everyone - we ended up just heading to the east side free camping last night since we were getting in later and kind of knew the lay of the land over there.
