What do you think about this method of reducing volume? I didn’t use it, but It’s totally better than before. Also it just a 2.75mm cord, so doesn’t any effect on weight. The best part is that it costs nothing(just a bit). It is easy to install and remove. And, applicable to all types of cams(but I don’t know about dragons, master cam and some old school cams). Please share your opinion.

Seems like a good homebrew solution! I have to be pedantic and say nothing weighs nothing, and this doesn't cost nothing. I also worry about how secure this system would be in a pack. Maybe adding shock cord or a hair tie around the trigger bar would help keep it in place.

The old school method of jamming a stick through the lobes is probably better since the tension from the cam keeps it in place, though this is probably lighter. People have made more permanent versions with a metal pin secured to the cam with cord. These also have the benefit of being deployed on-route with just a pull of the triggers. I wonder if a binder clip would have enough holding power to keep the trigger retracted if you place it on the stem.

In my opinion, attaching a trigger to the cam would be a bad idea, as any additional machining on the cam would likely affect its strength and condition. Also, tying the cam is for packing purposes in alpine or other climbing situations where packing is crucial.

I'm not advocating for changing the cam in any way, just placing a stick or dowel through the lobes and pressing against the stem.

Ah, sorry I didn’t understand it.

However, I tried what you said before, but the stick broke too easily and was easy to lose.

Use a stronger stick and tie it to the thumb loop. This has been the standard method for decades.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
