Giant beans are way better with a nutspoon. Even opens bottles! And tightens 3/8" bolts! |

Stick a wire gate on one side and no one will ever buy a nut tool again! |

Hitting that spork with the palm of the hand to remove a nut would be painful ! |

Wanted to thank everyone all for the support! The nutspork has been a bit polarizing but its been exciting seeing all of the interest. Also really appreciate the suggestions, going to try to test out the wire gate for version 2. Taking to a bunch of suppliers to get quotes for making them with a heat treatable stainless alloy. Just an update for everyone who bought them. All of the spoons and sporks are pressed, just going to do some hand filing to smooth the sharp edges. I'm aiming to drop them off at the post office tomorrow or Thursday. Looking forward to seeing you eat with them! |

Moving the teeth (or spoon) to one side (rotate the teeth and/or the dish 90 degrees relative to the smacking angle) might solve the "I can't smack it" issue. It would make these handed, would also mean you might be able to have more material to make some kind of lip for improved smackage. That said that seems like it might be harder to fabricate, complicates a pretty simple/nifty design, and I don't know anything about the real world. |

Jay DePunwrote: Thats a good idea, i don't think it would be that much harder to manufacture. I might draw something in CAD and see if it looks good. The smacking issue isn't actually that bad because the prongs are pretty thick. One day ill take a video of myself whipping on a bunch of nuts and attempt to extract them without drawing blood. |

Having spent a few weeks using the NutSpork I can say 10/10 would clean placements and eat beans with again. A great product that no climber should leave the ground without. |

Have you thought about making custom sacks? |

The nutspoons are back by popular demand! Now made of heat treated 420 stainless steel. They are much harder to bend now. Prices are the same, all include USPS ground shipping. 1x $35 2x $65 4x $120 Venmo @karthikg with shipping address, spork/spoon, and quantity. Let me know if you need them before Christmas and I can try to accommodate. It might cost about $10 more for 2nd day air or USPS priority. |
