I'm looking for folks to practice rope rescue techniques with. It's been a while since I practiced escaping the belay, passing the knot, ascending a rope, etc.

I'm in Corvallis but can get away, especially during the week.

Also looking for good rope rescue courses in the Pacific NW.

I'm in Portland and would be down to take you out and teach you the things you mentioned and much more. we could hit a crag up and and I'll set the lines and that jazz. all I ask in return is that you pass on the favor, and maybe belay me on a project...

I’m taking a rock technical rescue class with Climbers of Color this summer. It’s a custom course made for me. You’re welcome to join!

Hey! I’ll be moving to Vancouver, WA in August and would love to find folks to practice some self rescue skills with this fall.

Also will probably be looking for climbing partners :)

It’s been a minute, but anyone still interested in meeting up to practice self rescue skills in the PDX area? I’ve been practicing escaping belays, ascending etc in a park near my house, but it’d be awesome to have a buddy or two to practice with on occasion, especially at crags but also potentially in town. I’m trying to get repetition in for skills I already know and also working my way slowly through a self rescue book. Feel free to shoot me a dm!

I practice this stuff a bit by myself, but I’m over in eastern washington. Most of my practice has been cave and canyon centric lately though. I’m rusty on multi pitch partner rescue.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
