Renting boulder mats / crashpads in Butte + any bouldering tips?

I'll be visiting my family in Butte for a few weeks in July. I'd love to do a bit of bouldering, but I can't find a local place to rent crash pads. Any tips? Plan is to play around Homestake pass (but I'd be happy to hear if there's other spots that are more highly recommended). Thanks!
