Life changes have freed up my schedule a bit and I'm looking to get back out into the mountains more. Every other week, I have weekends free and can climb after work on weekdays or take some weekdays off for the right objective.
I (39/male) have climbed as a hobbyist for a long time, but have been a bit out of the game for a few years (climbing plastic instead of real rock...). I'm looking to get back into the swing of things and particularly interested in alpine climbs in the low fifth up to 5.8, maybe 5.9 range. I also have some mountaineering objectives that I (strangely) haven't done yet and want to tick off.
While I've never climbed at a super high level, I do have a broad range of experience including glacier, ice, mixed, and rock. I am really looking to shake off the rust, up my rock climbing game, have some fun! Long days are great, and I've stayed fit so while I'm not particularly fast I can still cover some ground. I'm based in Seattle.
I'm happy to climb with experienced folks with similar objectives and those who are less experience but are knowledgeable (e.g. have taken courses/learned the basics, done some climbs, competent at belaying, and not new to this...), are nice people, decently fit and motivated, safety oriented, and happy to be in the mountains! I have all the necessary gear for objectives like this.
Feel free to reach out by DM'ing me. Cheers,
Joseph
