Hey friends,
There is disappointing news confirmed about Mary Jane: "The damage sustained from Tropical Storm Hilary requires a reroute of the trail and significant construction repairs. It is estimated that the trail will reopen in the fall of 2027 after the parking area and trail are both complete."

However, please note that there is no additional information or date estimate regarding Trail Canyon at this time.
Gee Monet's crag status update above is current, and this thread will be a great place to continue with news (Charlie, could you please update thread title?)

There are several sources that you can watch to stay informed and to receive updates as soon as they become available.
Southern Nevada Climbers Coalition: Website (site update in progress) / Facebook / Instagram
Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest: Press Release Page
Mt. Charleston: Facebook (Facebook is current, but the Website is out of date)

It's also worth noting that there were two trail days up at Cathedral in May which contributed significantly towards this trail reopening (MP Post HERE).
It would be fantastic to see more of the climbing community represented at these events, as this goes a long way towards building goodwill with the U.S. Forest Service rangers.
Next up is Saturday, June 14: "Paint the Mountain Green 2025" which is not a climbing-specific volunteer event, just another opportunity to help. Volunteer signup HERE
