Hahaha!  A rare locker sighting!  Or is it l0cker?  Here's an old Supertopo chestnut: Lockerette!

With a hole as shown in the photos or with .25mm twine(anything that fits and WILL FAIL in a fall, that’s a good thing) threaded through the tab of material that captures the axel on the “break side” of the device. This is the only way to make soloing enjoyable without cutting up your fancy belay device.
