Route/Area links in app open (in the app) as a browser page

If, for example, I'm viewing someone's profile and click a specific route they've ticked, it keeps me within the app but opens that route as if I'm using a browser. Very different format than opening a route in the app through the routes section on the home screen. Seems much easier and more mobile friendly to view the route page in app format as opposed to browser format
