Pico de Aneto (Pyrenees) summit attempt 10.05.25

Hey everyone,

I’m planning a summit attempt on Pico de Aneto this coming Saturday, May 10th. I’ve been on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees for about a week now, climbing a few smaller peaks over the past days to enjoy the mountains.

As expected for the season, there’s still quite a bit of snow up there— even more than in previous years. I’ve been checking the Refugio live cam daily, but it doesn’t reveal much about the actual conditions.

Is anyone local or recently been up there who can share some current info about general conditions, snow especially about the glacier conditions?
