Seeking Climbing Partner for Yosemite Big Wall Seminar & El Cap/Half Dome Attempts

Looking for 1-2 partners to join Yosemite Mountaineering School’s 2-day Big Wall Seminar (April 20-21) and team up afterward for practical attempts on El Capitan (The Nose preferred) and Half Dome NW Face.

About Me:

• Trad: 5.11- onsight | Sport: 5.11b redpoint

• Full rack (C4s to #4), 60m rope, aiders (no portaledge/haul bag)

• Studied historical ascent tactics (e.g., Harding’s 1958 Nose logs)

Seeking:

• Prior multi-pitch/big wall experience preferred (following/cleaning acceptable)

• Willing to split seminar cost ($630/person) and coordinate post-course logistics

• Flexible schedule (3-5 days post-seminar for El Cap/Half Dome)

Logistics:

• Camping permits not yet secured – open to joint efforts for last-minute Valley cancellations or off-park lodging

• Group gear provided: First aid kit, wall hammer, battery charging system
