I was hoping it would take longer than that!

It is indeed Mount Scenery, high point of the Netherlands (!)

Same peak, different angle.

Artesonarju perhaps, but it doesn’t look quite right.

It does similar to the Cordillera Blanca peaks, but this one is in Asia.

Gasherbrum II?

It's in Nepal and not an 8000er.

6000er.  If this one is too hard I can post a different one.  The last one I posted was apparently too easy.

This one isn't famous, but is next to some very famous peaks.

Looks like the peak behind Island Peak. Cho Polu?

It's not behind Island Peak or Cho Polu, but you're definitely close.  If you want to take another stab at it go ahead; otherwise I'll give you the answer (since you're close) and you can post a photo.

Maybe I should give this one to you since you were first to get close and I don't want to stall the thread.  Brian from SLC was also really close.

This is known as Aphu West and what is also part of what is informally known as Ambulapcha Peaks and is next to the Ambulapcha La (I would have also taken any name referencing Aphu or Ambulapcha as a correct answer). It is a beautiful and fine looking peak, but it's surrounded by other much more famous peaks so doesn't get much attention. Island Peak is across the valley/glacier to the north. The south face of Lhotse is behind that. Ama Dablam is on the ridge to the west. Baruntse is on the ridge to the east.

I'll give George and Brian both credit for getting close.

I think Brian was just following my lead;) So I’ll go ahead:

That river is the Saskatchewan, but the mountain is neither Rundle nor Ha Ling. Btw the Ambulaptcha Peaks are lower than 6000m, and that’s why I was aiming higher in my search.

Ha!  Awesome, George.

I'm probably wrong, but is that Mount Rundle and the Saskatchewan River in Banff?  At first I was thinking Ha Ling Peak, but it doesn't quite look right?
