So I have a few days off work 3/13-3/17 (leaving Thursday midday and I have to be back on Tuesday) Any good crags I can visit that are ideally no more than 6-7 hours away? I want to do leavenworth but weather looks iffy next weekend so i'd like some other options if needed. I only boulder looking for anything up to v8.

there are some low pressure troughs coming through after this weekend's high pressure system; i think you're going to have a tough time finding dry rock; hard to say this far out:

i'd head east of the cascades that's for sure.

Any areas you would recommend? I was looking at smith rock and it seems like they have some boulders even if its not really known for bouldering. Anything else? Could go up to 8 hours but not much more probably.

Central Oregon has tons relative to the rest of the state. Go buy the guidebook in town (try Next Adventure probably? Gyms might have it too), then supplement with MP:

You should go to Cape Disappointment, it's only 2 hours away from Portland.

told ya so. welcome to the PNW where you need to become an amateur meteorologist to go climb.

Think im angling smith since it seems like even if it does rain it drys quick and potentially bend as well. Want to check out the wizard.

The Wizard is shady and wet. I wouldn't go to the Depot in general, it gets run-off on the climbs which makes the tall top outs sketchy without rapping in and cleaning. There are lots of crags that are much drier. Also, FYI the tuff at Smith can loose integrity and holds can break after a rain, just like sandstone in the desert.

Maybe Boise? The weather doesn't look perfect, but Boise does have Swan Falls. I've never climbed there but I've heard good things about it.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
