Looking for a partner to ski Telescope Peak in Death Valley! I’m a splitboarder with experience on several ski summits and thinking April might be ideal, but I’m open to discussing the best timeframe. If you’re interested, let’s connect! 661-505-3281.

April(later half) might be a little late, telescope doesn't get the most snow and isn't the highest elevation.

I would recommend getting out there in about 1.5 to 2 weeks from now once this incoming series of storms passes thru.

Also note that in winter the hiking will start from the lime kilns about 3 miles down the road from the summer trailhead.

And i'm interested if your plans happened to fall on a weekend.

Bring a bike to deal with the road closure. The approach is north facing and gets icy AF, so might need micro spikes, crampons, ice axe etc. I’ve skied Rogers Peak and it was absolutely epic. I recommend the days right after a storm so you get some snow. Be prepared for some sketchy driving or hiking your skis and probably both. Have fun!!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
