Scramble to the top of the iota/chingando

On the iota mp page, the descent beta is “To get down, either rappel from slings, or walk to the back left side of the Iota and make a short steep downclimb (there should be a fixed rope with knots tied in it that you can "batman" down).”

sounds like it’s possible to climb up via a fixed rope to the top, does anyone have any related beta? I’m wanting to go top rope solo the iota and chingando.

It’s totally possible there’s bolts on the top of Chingando the lota is the cave behind it from the base had right towards Reeds go as high as you can, and go left behind the flake 4th class with a fixed line straight across from the bolted line is a horizontal squeeze. This is the start of the lota take a big step over the death slot(don’t look down)and there’s a fixed line that will take you to the top of Chingando

Hey Andrew, is this the right spot? I went as high as the bundle of blue rope, but couldn’t see a way through/squeeze. Should I have put a microtrax on the line and gone above the highest chockstone?
