About 1 in 8 pads returned to us have their buckles done wrong. Y'all need to step up your mentoring game for this up and coming generation.

Noted.  The ClimbSmart bouldering tour will now include a section on cam buckles - just updated my notes under "pads".  Do they manage to do this with G-hook buckles too?

With G-Hooks they tend to clip them in a way that doesn't actually cinch the pad closed at all.

Who are Satan’s children that are actually doing this the wrong way? Surely they’re doing it intentionally to bother anyone who uses their pad.

OK, geez.  I didn't realize I needed to cover how to fold up and stow your pad, but will do from now on.  Thanks for the beta.

Didn't the Access Fund cover this in their gym to crag educational series?

Sick. Will you add a section on stashing too?

Like "don't do it"?  I've never stashed a pad or hiked in deep.  What should the message(s) be?

All the people old enough to mentor boulders didn’t have crash pads and the earliest generation with crash pads are too disgruntled that these kids are calling boulders v17 to teach the skittle eating baggy pants wearing friends of ours the know how.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
