I'm going to be in SoCal next weekend and I've put out a call for partners but if I strike out I'm prepared to top rope solo.

I dont want to be an a-hole hogging some popular crag around Hidden Valley.  Where is somewhere off the beaten path a bit that had a good variety of slabs and cracks in the 8 to easy 10 range that can be TRS without too much faffing about?

Thanks

Mel's diner has two .10 cracks and is very close to the road, easy to walk to the top.

Mel's Diner comes to mind. Its a bit out of the way and easy to set up a TR on. I've only done two of the routes there but maybe else can comment on the rest? In my experience most routes in Jtree are a mix of slab and crack.
