The climbing wall was built to fit a short-room basement space, but can be added to at the top or at the bottom or fit in new small space to extend the climbing surface vertically. The wall is 82" tall, has a 95" 58° angled main-face. It extends 71" from the back wall which it anchors to. The middle main-climbing surface is 87.5" wide with 24" wide buttresses on both sides that extend 15" from the top of the main climbing wall and pitch back at 80° to the bottom. The buttresses wrap back on the outsides 27", 24" across their faces and wrap back as far as 4 feet into the more than 7-foot wide over-hung face allowing a climber to boulder more than 18-continuous feet. There are also hanging chains on eye bolts for those who like to train for ice climbing.

The main-angled structure is made with 2 x 6 framing, the vertical surfaces are backed with 2 x 4 framing and entirely surfaced with 3/4" AC plywood and painted with Climbing Texture Paint. All climbing holds are from Nicros Inc.

My climbing methods with this wall were mostly horizontal due to the height limitation of the space. However, with the significant horizontal distance around, this climbing wall allowed me to climb extensively at varying heights achieving great training in such a small space.

The wall disassembles into 3 or 5 pieces fairly easily and more if needed. I can help load the wall pieces on a vehicle (preferably a pickup, flat-bed truck or cube van) for any interested climber, but I cannot deliver it. If you are seriously interested and would like to see it, as it stands, a visit can be arranged. Interested individuals will be given contact info privately. It is located in South Minneapolis.

I'm asking $1,800 for the wall and all relative items, including the 108 mounted holds, 5/20"-ledge holds, mounting hex-screws, T-nuts, 4-ice-climbing training chains and eye bolts.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
