FS: Petzl Neox, Orange $90 + shipping

This Neox is used but in good condition. The device is fully functioning and I have used it for around a dozen trips to the crag. I have other ABDs that I prefer, so now this Neox needs a new home. I'm selling it with the Grivel omega triple action locker and the neox's original instruction pamphlet. $90 + shipping takes it. The one thing that I will miss about the device is how smooth lowering a climber is. The round wheel and long lever really makes it so you can fine-tune and modulate the lowering of climbers to find the perfect descent speed.

Hey, quick question, does the wheel rotate while you lower a climber? Like on TR or something. Or is it only engaged paying out slack? Thanks

When you are paying out slack the wheel/pulley spins relatively free. You can also make the pulley spin while belaying on top rope with a slight change in form

When you are lowering the wheel (should) stay in the locked position

Gotcha Jake, thanks for the explanation. I thought maybe the wheel also assisted in a smoother lowering, but guess it works like a normal gri gri.
