I cannot find a leak by submerging in bath tub. If I give it a couple of breaths once or twice through the night it’s fine. If I don’t my hips are touching ground by morning.Ok but sub-optimal. Anyone have tricks for finding slow leaks.

Soapy water spray bottle. Move the pad around so the hole isn't covered by another bit of the pad pressing on it. Check the valve and anywhere you see seams. Or just warranty it. I like to keep things out of the landfill and will patch my gear forever, but Thermarest will take care of you if you ask.

How cold is it when this happens? All NeoAir pads have less pressure in the morning because the ground and air temp have dropped compared to when the pad was blown up. It's an inescapable law of chemistry (Boyle's Law). Temps are always lowest just before sunrise. Depending on the amount of difference in temperature and how soft or hard you prefer your pad it's pretty normal for a hip to hit the ground by morning in a NeoAir. Add a few breaths and carry on sleeping. There's a good chance you don't have a leak at all. I expect to add air to my NeoAir before I actually lay down to sleep, once in the night, and once in the morning.

We had 2 pads side by side not performing the same. But your point is well taken, add a few breaths and carry on. Thanks

I tried all the tricks with a neoair xtherm and could not find the slow leak. Warrantied it, they couldn't find or fix it so they gave me a brand new one with the better insulation specs and the new one-way valve. Old one prob got tossed or maybe into an employee's closet but I wasn't using it anyway so it was practically garbage after I couldn't fix it. The new designs really are a huge step up, especially the valve.
