Just as FYI, and I am not by any means saying these are counterfeit, but these ascenders come from "vanmark deals", and on Petzls own page on amazon it has a list of authorized resellers warning that they could be counterfeit if purchased from anyone other than those resellers. I just find it misleading as on the product page it says "visit petzl store" which i feel like makes people believe these are coming from petzl (or at least it made me believe that!)

Yeah, I've gotten a lot of counterfeit merchandise from Amazon.  Not just off brand, but sold BY Amazon claiming to be name brand, then they shipped me fakes.  I wouldn't buy climbing gear from them.  Run away.  

Gotta post a deal, though, 'cause them's the rules.  

Midway had a bucket of some freeze dried meals that are supposed to be a lot better than Mountain House.  Never seen them this cheap before.  They often run free shipping promos.
