Beta for getting to Orange Oswald by water

Last time I climbed at Orange Oswald (around 2 years ago) a group of people came up on paddle boards with all their gear and just started climbing. This struck me as an excellent idea and I want to copy it for my upcoming trip. However I neglected to ask them where they put in — recognizing that they could in fact have come from anywhere including a private residence, does anyone have recommendations for which of the public boat launches we could use to put in kayaks/paddle boards and get to Orange Oswald in a reasonable amount of time? TIA for any beta y’all have on this!

Salmon Run is the closest public boat launch and where most people put in. There is day use parking fee or you can buy an annual pass. If you don't want to pay, you could also carry your board into whipporwill and paddle from there.
