Dolomites (Italy)

Anyone interested in joining forced for the Dolomites?   

I have a flight landing in Rome on June 16th, and flying back out on July 6th.

I have a wedding to attend near Florence on June 22nd.

For me, any climbing prior to the wedding would be around Rome, and after the wedding would be around the Dolomites.

Do you live in the area and know the whereabouts? Do you have a car? How much experience do you have (lead/belay/sport/trad/multipitch)?

I live in Rome, I might be able to sneak out during your dates for a trip north - I have been mainly single pitching it these days but I have climbed extensively in the Dolomites, couple decades of rock, ice, alpine experience - 6c/7a leading these days. Maybe as we get closer to June we can see how things look on the calendar and see if what could work. I have a car, rack, ropes etc, but dwindling vacation time. safe travels

Hey I’m also visiting the area around the same time. I fly into Rome June 22nd and closest I will be is Florence area. I may not have access to car but for some reason or if works out I’d be intrested in planning somethin in that northern region. I have plenty of experience. I like to climb 5-easy to the 5.12+ range. Gonna bring all gear to send. Lmk if wanting to plan something and can exchange info and maybe plan somethin.

flying from USA to Italy for my friend wedding and i’m landing in Milan May the 17th afternoon and have 18&19 free. i’ll have my shoes and harness. 

looking to join trad or sport climbing team in the dolomites or nearby area. i got 10 yrs of experience most of it in multipitch.

I am just studying here for a short time so I don't know really deeply the area but yeah starting to knowing arco and Trento for now, dolomites still snowy for the moment. no I don't have a car but open to rent one and split cost. I have 4 years of climbing experience, feel comfortable belaying with any device from grigri to ATC, I have experience mainly in sport but I've done trad multis.

I'll be in Europe and can potentially meet in the Dolomites (or Chamonix) sometime between June 12 - July 6, or July 16 - July 31. I'm comfortable on multi-pitch rock climbs, but don't have much experience on glaciers. In Chamonix I figure the whole place is enough of a conga line that you can follow other parties to the base of routes. Looking for partners for some classic alpine rock climbs during these dates. Well, my flight is on June 15th, and I still haven't found a partner.

I guess I'll only bring harness + ATC + shoes.

Thinking about hanging around Cortina for hiking, or maybe camping near the crags, in case I feel like I might get lucky to find a partner there.

I will be in Italy July 30-Aug 1 and looking for a partner to climb the Dolomites with!
