Comment cap?

Is there some sort of maximum characters allowed, or comments allowed to be made on routes in a day?  

Just back from a trip to City of Rocks and leaving comments on some of the routes we did, but when trying to leave the last one it keeps posting with only the first 2.5 sentences of the post.  I'm not over the total character limit for a single post, so am unsure what is causing it to cut off like that.

Hey Paul, would you post a link to the route where your comment is getting truncated? I think there's a daily comment limit but I wouldn't expect it to behave like that (based on characters as opposed to comments). Happy to dig in and figure out what's going on.

I just tried to post again, and it's still cutting off in exactly the same way.  Let me know if you need anything else. 

Hey Paul, unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce this. Would you try to post the full comment again? If it works, you're probably right about there being a limit based on a timeframe, but beyond that I'm stumped. This is the first time I've heard of this but maybe folks just shorten their comment as a workaround or don't notice. I'll submit a ticket to review the logic for comment limits in case there's something that can be improved. Thanks, again. 

It still does the same thing.  Pretty strange.  It's been a couple of days, and I'll I've posted today were short forum replies. 

So you posted a few new, shorter comments since the issue? Have you tried posting another comment with the same number of characters as the comment that's getting cut off somewhere else? Thinking that the issue might be related to character count instead of comment limit. 

I've tried to post the comment again, but it cuts off in basically exactly the same spot.  When I'm entering the post, it tells me I have over 4600 characters remaining, but still cuts off the comment on posting.  I've included screenshots of the full comment, the comment pre-posting, and there is currently a cut-off comment on the page.
