Boulders loss to development?

If it makes anyone in this depressing thread feel any better, the Mazzones are only mostly gone, and what's left of them always have chalk on them. =)

They definitely shouldn't be on MP and I won't give any advice on finding them, but a little sleuthing will get you there. They aren't so hard to find for the motivated.

I assume you are referring to the climbing found on the property of The Boulders, the golf course and spa?  I'd also add the climbing at Troon Mountain.  That too was once public only to be gobbled up by a gated golfing community.  PHX is littered with these examples.  Lame.

Quite a long and ongoing case, this will make some big foreign political donors very happy. I seem to remember Obama, John McCain and almost all the others took big donations from the mining giant to push this through a defense bill.
