I wear 43.5 in phantom techs. I would say the mammut boots are similar sizing, but in general a bit wider in the toebox. These boots in particular are very snug in the heel pocket. I only got a 44.5 to prioritize toe box comfort for long glacier slogs. I am only selling these because I got a good deal on the same boots in a 44. I remember trying on the OG scarpa ribelle tech (a similar category boot) awhile ago in the 44, and if I remember correctly they were similar sizing as the mammut taiss light in a 44, but perhaps a bit tighter in the forefoot.

Sounds like they'll be too small for me as I am closer to 45 in Scarpa. Thanks anyway!

The ortovox is 32L and the mammut is 28L. Both come in one size back length. I typically am a size L back length, and both of the bags are a good size for me.
