Smith 12/16 - 12/23

Temps looks great, trying to get on 5.12 to 13- but happy to accommodate other ideas

Well, I don't know where you're from, but temps don't seem quite as great to someone from LA. Still, I'm in Bend for the holidays, and I can't stand to leave the area without a day at Smith.

If you let me get on something 5.10-ish to warm up, and flail a bit on your hard routes, I'm happy to give you some belays on 12-13, especially if you pick routes in the sun. I could go Thursday afternoon, which seems like the warmest day. Otherwise I'll just hit the gym.

Hey Brian/Jenny, I'm hoping to get out tomorrow Thursday for some climbing in the early afternoon at the morning glory wall. Happy to go wherever else to but my goal for tomorrow is to hop on Doritos. Let me know if you're interested. Cheers, David. 

I will be there! I can't climb 12c, but I'll give belays and bask in the reflected glory of my new 5.12 partners.

Is there a time I should be there? Or just aim for early afternoon?

Unfortunately I missed these replies, but hope you two got out for what looks to be the most amazing weather of the week.  

Although the thread title is for December, I'm here all winter and available again starting Dec 27th. Game for some easier climbing mixed in!

Sorry, I looked for David, but didn't manage to find him. I still have David to thank for an awesome day, because I ended up having a great time climbing with other Bend climbers who were nice enough to let me work in. I would have been too shy to show up with no partner if I hadn't gone down looking for David, so Thanks! Maybe we can meet at Smith later in December, or next time either of you are in LA. Hey Jenny sorry for the miscommunication. I didn't see your reply so I didn't head out, was only going to go down there if I lined up a partner. But glad you got out on what was probably one of the nicest days of the month, and glad you got welcomed in by the local community! 

Created a new topic for partners for the rest of the winter, locking this one.  Thanks to all the great climbing partners that reached out, December was amazing!
