What a month. I’ve been scrambling to get the Change Log written and now we are well into October :( Sorry for the delay of the highly anticipated change log ;) Anyways, I’ve got some super exciting updates for you all! Bug Fixes Fixed - In MP mobile app links within Text Sections were not working as expected Fixed - MTB was limiting Symbols on the map Fixed - Photo Rating in mobile apps Huge thanks to Jason for these fixes. !! New News !! Mountain Project + onX Backcountry A group of us at onX who use both Mountain Project and onX Backcountry have been dying to see climbing areas on the map. So we got together to see if we could make that happen. We did and hope that you will enjoy the new feature as much as we do. Having Mountain Project in onX backcountry is something we’re super stoked on and you can explore this content for Free! We are still working on adding it to our mobile apps, but it is available for exploration in our web map. We’ve added a new Explore in 3D button to the MP web pages which will open up the area or route in onX backcountry. You can learn more about this feature and the future of it here. The All My Ticks Map is coming soon! We’re still iterating on the experience and will release the beta version for you all very soon. The MP regional admins have been helping us improve the map and we will keep you posted when the early access beta version is available. We are leveraging onX map technology for that map. This allows us to build faster, have more confidence, and build a map that you will even be able to share on your own website. As a result, the beta access that's coming will require you to connect your MP account with an onX account during the beta period (instructions coming soon) but won't require payment whatsoever. We’ve got a lot more planned for the rest of this month. And will be providing another change log in the next couple of weeks! |

1. When is the API coming back? I'd like to use the user submitted public domain information to build other tools on other platforms. 2. Any plans to allow users to delete the data they submitted at any point in time without needing to submit a legal request or have an admin do it? |

It's something that may be considered in the future, but I have no direct insight on that. 2) This is best outlined in our Terms of Use. I personally can not speak to this either. To my knowledge what is in our terms is the best way to resolve that if it does becomes an issue. Doing my best to answer questions here. Hope that makes sense. |
